These are probably one of the clasps that I use the most for personal projects simple because of the quality of the lobster clasp, adjust-ability of the chain and the fact that they are a really good price.
Add to this that they are skin friendly and you have a wonderful clasp.
The larger sized clasps are perfect for Prumihimo cords and larger traditional kumihimo cords.
The size quoted is the inner diameter of the end cap at it's opening.
